Allora, la cosa piu importante e' di non cambiare quello che e' detto, non introdurre nuove parole se non sono necessario. Se il testo da 'trasformare' usa films, non cambiare per movies



in piu, si puo dire:

I remember that film, but I don't like any of the actors (ancora, non mi piacono, nonostante che il film e vecchio)

oppure

I remember that film, but I didn't like any of the actors (al momento in cui ho visto il film, non mi piacevano gli attori - ma ora, chi sa?)

@Nicola, first: it wasnt me that gave you a thumbs down! Secondly, I'm only saying that 'film' is the word used in the diaolgue to be converted into Direct Speech, so we should continue to use the same word - the conversion is about the mode of reporting the speech, not about translation/improvement.

But 'film' is a perfectly good word for a movie! In the US, 'movie' is normal, but in the UK we prefer 'film'. The dialogue above seems perfectly natural to British ears, and I would never ask a friend: 'Have you seen the new James Bond movie? instead I would use film.....
