è QUESTO.....
Last winter, my family and i went to New York to spend the Christmas holydays. We left the first day of school vacations and arrived in NYC the next day. The flight took 8 hours and the jet lag's effects were terrible for the first day. We stayed in NY for five days and four nights, and we slept in a expensive hotel right next to Central Park. The first thing we went to visit was the Statue of Liberty. My brother and i absolutely loved it! We took a boat from the port and went around the statue's island twice. The weather was nice, and it wasn't too cold, so it was nice to be on the outside of the boat. That same evening we went to have dinner in a restaurant which was on the top of the tallest building in New York: the Empire State Building. The view was wonderful from up there. The next day we decided to have a big brunch at the hotel and we then went to Central Park. There, there was a really big ice-skating ring. Although i can't ice-skate very well we had a lot of fun. We bought some hot chocolate and went back to the hotel. During our permanence in NY we also visited the Guggheneim Museum. Then, my mother insisted to go shopping in those huge shopping malls that are there in the centre of the city. Another thing i remember i enjoyed a lot was when we went to watch a musical in Broadway. That night they were playing "Mamma Mia". We liked ot so much that after the play was finished we even bought the CD with all the recorded songs of the musical. We returned home the next evening, by plane of course. It was honestly one of the best holydays i had ever had in my whole life, and i can't wait to go to New York again.
