Ragazzi per esprimere l'abitudine nel presente in inglese si usa to be used to + gerundio mentre per esprimere quella nel passato used to + infinito...Ma se io voglio esprimere l'abiutdine verso qualcosa che nn sia un'azione ma un sostantivo devo usare per forza to be used to?
Ad esempio I'm used to this behaviour
I was used to this behaviour e non I used to this behaviour??
Inoltre nel passato devo usare I was used to + gerundio solo se c'è una contrapposizione?? come At first I wasn't used to eating at 1 pm, but now I always do it

To be used to + verbo -ing form = essere abituati a fare una cosa

To be used to + sostantivo = essere abituati a quella cosa

To use to (past) = azione abituale nel passato

PRESENTE

*I am used to going to my grandmother's every sunday (sono abituata ad...)

invece TO USE TO non significa essere abituati, ma fare una cosa abitualmente nel passato! quindi

PASSATO

*I used to go to my grandmother's every sunday (andavo da mia nonna tutte le domeniche) - al presente si traduce con 'I go to my grandmother's every sunday', e non 'I am used to...'

*I was used to his rude behaviour (ero abituata al suo comportamento...)

I used to+ infinito= imperfetto I used to eat a lot years ago

I am used to + ing/ o + sostantivo I'm used to sleeping a lot
